This is a plain HTML page that does nothing but deliver a download.
It does not use cookies, it does not count even count the number of downloads from the site, nor does it gather any personal information about you.
On this site, you can go to Drip (my email service) to add your email address to the launch list. I have access to the list, and can see your email address. As you use your email account, you will add tags by clicking links when you are interested in something. I use these tags to only send email to the folks who are interested in the subject… and I’ll tell you which tags I used. If you receive an email that doesn’t fit your interests, you can request the removal the tag I used to send you an email you didn’t want.
The download is a plain PDF with links that simply take you to pages. The PDF doesn’t gather any information about you, or track you, or add cookies to your account.
The sites to which the PDF policy takes you have their own privacy policies. They’re longer than this one, because those sites all offer more content, more interactivity, more STUFF.
This page is for your information and convenience only. It exists solely to show you what I’m covering in my How to Write a Novel class, and to give you a way to get information about when the class reopens if you want that.
